Kampung Glam
An excellent example of a British tropical colonial mansion, this historical structure was once the former residence of the family and followers of Sultan Hussein Mohamed Shah of Johor. When it was completed in 1820, it occupied an area twice the size of the present compound but this was halved in 1824 due to the construction of North Bridge Road. Until early 1999, it was the private residence for the sultan's descendants and described as the world's most informal royal palace, where visitors were permitted to walk on the grounds.

Fort Canning
Rich in history, the majestic colonial edifice was completed by the British in 1926, and housed the British Far East Command Centre in World War II. Today, The Legends Fort Canning Park has the distinction of being the only town club in Singapore set within a hill-top, city park.
