Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom

Geylang Serai

Chinese Garden
The Chinese Gardens, along with its neighbor the Japanese Gardens, are one of our favorite getaway places when we want to get out of Singapore's modern city center. The gardens are easy to get to are very relaxing. Within the Chinese Gardens is a large bonsai garden housing a huge variety of species spread among several Chinese styled pavilions. A narrow channel connecting the two large lakes of the park borders the bonsai garden on the north side. Across the channel you can see the eight storey pagoda on a short hill.

St. John’s Island
St John's Island (previously known as Pulau Sekijang Bendara) is located approximately 6.5km south of Singapore.

LilliPutt
Fancy golfing next to the control tower at Singapore Changi Airport? Now you can! Dalhousie Obelisk
In harmony with the historic Singapore River area at Empress Place, this stately monument was built to commemorate the visit to Singapore in 1850 by Marquis Dalhousie, Governor-General of India.

Istana
Office of the President of the Republic of Singapore. Istana means 'palace' in Malay.

Central Sikh Temple
The chief place of worship for Singapore’s 15,000 Sikhs, the Central Sikh Temple was built to commemorate the 518th anniversary of Guru Nanak, the first Sikh guru. The temple boasts a skilful blend of modern and traditional architecture. The Granth Sahib, or holy book, is enshrined in a magnificent prayer hall which has a 13-metre wide dome.
